The space
The ground floor offers a sun-filled living and dining space, full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen that seamlessly connects you to breathtaking water and forest views. The private primary bedroom suite on this floor features a second, renovated bathroom and a cozy sitting/yoga room – perfect for relaxation, along with convenient laundry access.
Upstairs, the open-concept loft entertainment room offers a fun, versatile space for guests, while two connected bedrooms share a half bath. In order to access the bathroom, guests will need to walk through the adjoining bedroom.
For added comfort, all bedding is 100% cotton or linen, with top-tier Purple and Casper mattresses ensuring a restful sleep. Designer furnishings from Blu Dot, Floyd, HAY, West Elm, Pendleton, Schoolhouse Electric, and vintage Scandinavian teak and oak add a stylish touch to your stay.
Step outside to the expansive deck and patio area, where you can catch both glowing sunsets and peaceful sunrises. Enjoy the outdoor dining area, lounge seating, firepit, and grill – all with stunning waterfront views. Access includes a private beach, dock, and two kayaks (with life vests).
BYOB – Bring Your Own Boat to take full advantage of the dock and explore the beautiful Puget Sound. Contact property manager for approval. Please be advised that we cannot accommodate a trailer in our driveway, you will need to park and launch from Twanoh State Park located only minutes away. Park fees may apply.
Watch seals, otters, blue herons, eagles, and a variety of waterfowl right from the comfort of the cabin. With some luck, you may even spot a pod of whales. This special place offers some of the warmest waters for swimming in Washington State, along with soft pebble beaches and dark skies perfect for stargazing.
The home is located 5 miles from Alderbrook Resort & Spa, local restaurants, shopping and site seeing offering a perfect balance of luxury, relaxation and adventure.
Guest access
You have full access to the home and dock. Please be advised that we have a shared driveway. As such, you may see our neighbors when arriving or departing their home.
Other things to note
AS OF MAY 2025 - An exterior siding project is currently underway, so you may notice some mismatched siding as we work on repairs and re-staining.
This home comfortably accommodates up to 6 overnight guests. Please ensure you register the exact number of guests to help us schedule cleaning and appropriate preparation for your stay. If your party exceeds 6 people, please contact us, and we may be able to make arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Note that only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
Quiet hours are from 10PM-8AM to be respectful to our community. Sound travels on the water, and there are neighbors on both sides of the home.
Harvest clams and oysters just a quarter mile away from the home at Twanoh State Park. No harvesting is permitted on our private beach.
While we're lucky to have a rare soft pebble beach, you'll also find plenty of oysters along the shore, especially during low tide. To protect your feet, it's a good idea to bring water shoes.
This area experiences windstorms that occasionally cause power outages — typically in the winter months. Depending on the severity of the storm, power is usually restored in less than 24 hours.
Passive exterior security cameras are used on the entry and sides of the home.

Cancellation policy

1.    CANCELLATION POLICY: Please read the entire cancellation policy. There is a cancellation policy for the low season and high season. There is no refund during HIGH SEASON or HOLIDAY SEASON. Once your money arrives and is deposited, it is non-refundable. 

Travelers who cancel at least 90 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 65 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

The cancellation request must be submitted in writing no later than 65 days before arrival by the Tenant to the Landlord.

LOW SEASON:  If cancellation notice is given more than 65 days before arrival, then The Tenant understands that if the Tenant cancels this Lease the Landlord has the right to demand the full payment of rent in accordance with the terms of this lease. In the event that the Landlord does not release the Tenant from the continued obligation to pay rent or the Property is not re-rented at full price, the Landlord may demand that the Tenant continue to remain obligated to pay the rental amount.

HOLIDAY AND SPECIAL WEEKS CANCELLATION POLICY: We have a no cancellation policy for any holiday weeks OR SPECIAL SEASON WEEKS including and not limited to: Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, 4TH of July, Mini Lobster Season, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Spring Break Weeks.

Travel Insurance: If you have further concerns, I encourage you to buy travelers insurance, which could refund your money paid in case of emergencies or during hurricane or force majeure. Natural disasters like hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and weather disturbances sometimes referred to as “acts of God”, “and any other events, including emergencies or non emergencies,” to cover other unforeseeable events. Other covered events may include war, terrorism or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, labor strikes or disruptions, fire, disease or medical epidemics or outbreaks, and curtailment of transportation facilities preventing or delaying attendance of vacation renters.

CANCELLATION: In the event the Tenant wishes to cancel this Lease, the Tenant may do so only upon the consent of the Landlord. The cancellation request must be submitted in writing by the Tenant to the Landlord. The Tenant understands that if the Tenant cancels this Lease the Landlord has the right to demand the full payment of rent in accordance with the terms of this lease. In the event that the Landlord does not release the Tenant from the continued obligation to pay rent or the Property is not re-rented at full price, the Landlord may demand that the Tenant continue to remain obligated to pay the rental amount. All cancellations must be made at least 90 days in advance. All cancellation’s refunds will be changed a $150.00 administration fee.
